I’m a Freelance Business Strategist and I want women around the world to know that your background does not define your future. Your life is meant to be lived now. And you don’t have to settle for anything less than the life that truly lights you up – no matter how big your dreams are.

I had always worked in restaurants and bars, and at 21 years old, someone asked me what I wanted to do with my life. I had no idea! I was a party girl who was making enough to get by and who didn’t really care about the future. But let’s be honest, paying your $500 rent 14 days late every month and making sure you have juuust enough money for tacos and margaritas doesn’t really count as a reliable career path.
I felt like I wanted more, a different lifestyle. I tried to tag along with anyone who left my hometown and moved away, but I knew that I need to create something that was mine, that I could be proud of.
I had no idea what I wanted to do. I started looking at work-from-home jobs. I tried MLMs, some weird shady online stuff (ha! not what you think), and then landed a gig working with an online entrepreneur as their Virtual Assistant. I found the flexibility that allowed me to do awesome things … like move from my hometown in Kansas City to Hawaii, California and then Florida where I live now.
But the best part was that it was a stepping stone to something greater. Working a multi-client workload with entrepreneurs allowed me to learn the ins and outs of several different types of online businesses. I saw what high-level business owners were doing to bring in 500K+ incomes (and quickly started seeing 6K months myself). I saw their processes, their marketing, their teams, how they were handling their clients and everything in between.
I quickly fell in love with the industry and in 2015, I launched my own Virtual Assistance Agency, Virtually Anything Assistants. I now own a full-time agency with a consistent multi-client workload, six-figure income, and a team helping me with the workload and taking on projects so that we could offer all the things.
What I learned through this experience is that there are a ton of people looking for work-from-home jobs that need a format for where to start.
That Freelance businesses (Virtual Assistants, Web and Graphic Designers, Copywriters, etc.) can make WAY more money than most are making currently.
I now work with soon-to-be (or new) freelancers who either want to get started but aren’t sure how, or need to create stability in their current business.
Even if you don’t know what you want exactly, you can have more. Business should be fun and should give you exactly what you want from life. You deserve that.
